About Monkey Business Safaris
Monkey Business Safaris is a travel company that plans wildlife expeditions in India.

We've spent almost a decade working as Naturalists at various National Parks, and can offer expert recommendations for safari destinations in India and in Nepal.

India's wilderness is one of the most special aspects of this landscape, and we aim to showcase this diversity through well thought out safaris led by local naturalists.

A wildlife safari is about observing all aspects of nature and about understanding how all of it is entwined ; it is our aim to highlight this.

Varun Mani
Naturalist and Founder
My love for wildlife has been belated and rather unexpected, as I was surprised at how blown away I was by the landscape of Kanha Tiger Reserve on my maiden wildlife trip in 2014. Since then, a journey beyond comprehension has unfolded :
Trained by And Beyond Africa and Taj
Safaris , I've since worked in Central India and in Southern Nepal as a Senior Naturalist at their wildlife lodges.
It is fascinating to observe wildlife undisturbed in some parts in an overpopulated country such as India.
But it is also worrisome to think about what it is that the future holds for it. The answer to how to contribute impactfully to the cause yet remains elusive.
For now, awareness is the key.

Rather, it is an insight into lives of people who co-exist with wildlife, and understanding what has shaped the natural history of a landscape.
